The Experience
Your Track
dNaNo is all about having fun with R/C and it has several ways to do this. dNaNo tracks are standardized to provide a common playground for everyone. Each track is built to exacting standards to ensure lap time integrity around the world. There are several sizes and layouts for each dNaNo location to choose from. The dNaNo tracks are built in four by eight foot panels that can be linked together which makes setup and tear down a snap. From here there are several layouts per track size. The running surface is a long wear carpet that provides the best driving experience and keep the cars looking good should they get upside down. The barriers have been modeled after real racing tracks with red and white striped beveled curbing on the inside of each corner. This makes for great racing and a beautiful track to go with the scale cars.

Your Link to the World
Of course what good is a nice track if you can’t see how fast you are going? Well, we’ve got that covered too. Software and hardware is supplied to each location to count and register the cars. Each dNaNo has a built in lap-counting IC chip so each car can be uniquely identified. Upon purchase of a car, the customer registers the car to his unique on-line ID of his choosing. This is done through the dNaNo Track Management software. Very little info is needed: User ID, password and email address. That’s it. Once registered the driver has free access to racednano.com for three months. After three months they can choose to sign up for a one year membership for only $29.99 or just over $2 a month. On their garage page on racednano.com he or she can view the cars they own and lap times for each car that has been run at a dNaNo circuit. They can also see stats on each car like total service time and total laps. Click into the trophy room and the driver can see what clubs and achievements they have earned. The clubs consist of the Experienced Driver’s Club, Skilled Drivers Club, Collector’s Club, Tuners Club and the Lap Record Club. Within each club are the achievements. In the Experienced Driver’s Club you can achieve awards for number of laps run from 100 to 100,000. In the Skilled Driver’s Club it’s all about speed. Achieve a certain lap time on a particular layout and you will move from Experienced, to Semi-Pro or Semi-Pro to Pro. In the Collector’s Club it’s all about your garage. The more cars you have, the more awards you achieve. The Tuner’s Club is for the gear heads. Buy a hop up part and register it with the shop and it’s added to your gear. The more you tune, the more you earn. Last comes the Lap Record Club. This one is for all the time sheet junkies who want to make sure they are the fastest at their track and or regionally or nationally. As you can see there is something for everyone when it comes to achievements! What powers all this is the dNaNo Track Management Software and the racednano.com website. The software will run on just about any PC computer bought in the past few years that has the ability to connect to the internet and Windows XP. The track management software is used to register the cars and drivers, register purchased track time for practice, manage practice, store and upload lap times for racednano.com and organize racing events. It’s one powerful piece of software.
